  • "Excellent.  Riding in Europe has been on my mind since I was stationed in Germany.  I'm a BMW fan and me and some buddies finally decided to do it.  The only regret, we should have done it sooner!  The riding was as I thought it would be, just spectacular.  The BMW Motorrad Days festival was awesome, I got to test almost every bike they make, see concerts, stunt shows, plus get a lot of accessories for my bike.  Thanks M2 for an unforgettable trip.”  Dan J.& friends, Newark
  • "Amazing.  Riding to BMW Days was by far the most amazing ride I've done.  Day after day of excellent mountain roads, beautiful countryside.  At BMW Days it was like an amusement park for riders.  I met some great people and the entertainment at the beer garden was fantastic.  Then we had even more awesome riding through Italy and the Dolomites.  Couldn't have picked a better tour for my first time, now I'm hooked. "  Mike V., Washington D.C.

BMW Fans Unite and Reunite!

Any self respecting BMW Motorrad fan needs to get Garmisch-Partenkirchen for BMW Motorrad Days at least once in a lifetimeChances are you’ll have such a good time you’ll want to go back.

Our BMW Motorrad Days Motorcycle Tour 2017 packs in everything you want from a tour.  Plenty of incredible riding, fantastic scenery, lots of amazing food and great company. To quote a well known saying, the destination is only part of the adventure.

We’ll get you tuned up with a ride taking you over 40 renowned mountain passes, top rated roads through 6 countries. Upon arrival in Garmisch-Partenkirchen you’ll be in tip-top riding form and ready for the festivities.

BMW Motorrad Days draws motorcycle fans from all over. You’ll get to see the latest products, take test drives, see demonstrations, concerts, and while meeting old friends and making new ones. Here’s your chance to get your hands on merchandise and accessories that you might not easily find at home.  Eating great food and drinking delicious German beers goes without saying.

We’ll get things going by  heading north into the Alps toward the Mont Blanc.  It’s the highest peak in the Alps.  We’ll cross the border into Switzerland and spend the night in its shadow after day one of Alpine touring.

As we continue along, you might recognize the Furkapass (2,429 metres), from the James Bond movie “Goldfinger”.  In the movie it’s the backdrop for a car chase with Agent 007.  When we reach the top you’ll understand why it was featured in the movie.

Further along the way, we’ll climb the Grimsell pass (2,164m) even on a bright sunny day in July we might just find ourselves surrounded by snow. Some of the roads we’ll be riding are only open for a few months out of the year. Didn’t think you’d to turn on those heated grips in Summer, did you?

Departure:  BMW Motorrad Days Motorcycle Tour 2017

Now that you have a few days of Alpine motorcycling under your belt, you’ll devour the Susten Pass standing proud at 2262m offering great views of the Stein Glacier.

Another famous one is The Oberalp Pass which is no slouch at 2,044 m. Like its taller siblings the road is only open from May-October. The Oberalp stands out as it has a lighthouse marking the source of the Rhine river.

When we reach BMW Motorrad Days in Garmisch Partenkirchen, you’ll have two days to take advantage of the party atmosphere, entertainment and the panoramic rides. Our hotel provides shuttle transportation so you relax and party it up with no worries.

Ride the Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse

We had to throw in the big daddy of Austria, the Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse.  Oh you’ll have stories and pictures for your friends back home who will wished they’d have come with you on your tour.  Enjoy the turns and marvel at the views from this iconic mountain road.

Continuing South we’ll enjoy our last miles in Austria before crossing over into Italy.

Dolomites Motorcycle Touring in Italy

Passing into Italy you’ll witness the Dolomites, a natural wonder that are part of the Southern Limestone Alps. 18 of the peaks surpass 3000 meters.  The Dolomites mountain range features sheer faces, cliffs, and craggy peaks.  Le Corbusier referred to as “the most beautiful work of architecture ever seen”. The Dolomites are a perennial favorite on motorcyclists’ bucket lists, so you can now check them off yours.

Next epic road is the Stelvio Pass (2,7557m): located on the Italian/Swiss border, featuring 75 hairpin turns, and another bucket list road to check off. A marvel of civil engineering, a motorcyclist’s delight. Our counterparts at Top Gear BBC voted it as the best driving road in the world.  If we can we’ll pop over to St. Moritz, a beautiful ski resort any time of the year.

Alpine Motorcycle Touring Switzerland & France

As if riding your BMW bike over the Stelvio, Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse and the others weren’t enough, we’ve got more lined up such as the Petit St. Bernard (2188m) on the border of France/Italy. The famous dog breed of alpine rescue fame bears his name, and at the summit you’ll learn why.

Next the San Bernadino (2066m) in the Swiss Alps, also featured on “Top Gear” as a runner up for one of the top driving roads in the world.

Ultimately regaining France we’ll progressively wind things down as we head back to Grenoble.

Grateful to arrive at the Spa for some well deserved rest & relaxation, we know that our craving for Alpine riding has been more than satisfied…but only temporarily.

Let’s share a toast and look back on some photos of a fantastic adventure while we plan BMW Motorrad Days Motorcycle Tour 2018.  Any takers?
