European Motorcycle Tour Travel Tips
Make your travel plans taking into account any ‘jet-lag’, or potential delays (weather, lost luggage, missed connecting flight) you may encounter along the line. You wouldn’t want to miss your Tour and neither do we. If your not here at tour departure time, the tour will depart without you.
Bear in mind, your flight may arrive the following day depending on the time/place of departure. Double check your itinerary before purchasing your plane tickets. Sometimes airlines sneak in extra-long layovers or multiple stops which can not only be fatiguing, but also increase the possibility of lost luggage or missing a connecting flight.
While we try to include as much as we can in our Tours, you are responsible for purchasing plane or train tickets. You’ll want to plan your itinerary so that you arrive at the city listed as the departure point. For your return plans, use Airports or Train stations for the Tour Departure City. If you are not sure, please contact us before finalizing your plans.
Our ground transportation service is available for arrivals/departures at the Grenoble train station or Lyon St. Exupery airport only, unless otherwise specified.
|Grenoble||Lyon St. Exupery or Geneva, Switzerland||Grenoble|
|Paris||Paris Charles de Gaulle or Orly||Montparnasse or Gare de Lyon|
If you will be visiting other cities before or after your Tour and need help coordinating your arrival/departure, please let us know, we are happy to assist.
In addition to your necessary travel documents (plane tickets, passport), you will need to bring your drivers license with motorcycle endorsement. Depending on your country of origin, you may need to bring an International Drivers License. If your drivers license is not in English, then chances are you should get an International License just to be safe.
