Participants on a recent guided motorcycle tour Italy had the chance to visit the Moto Guzzi museum near Lake Como, Italy. Lucky were those who made the visit since the museum is only open for one hour per day, weekdays only. As luck would have it the tour schedule was such that we were in the right place at the right time.
The museum has an extensive collection of motorcycles from sport bikes to prototypes and other interesting mechanical things carrying the Guzzi nameplate.
Whether you’re a fan of the brand or not, anyone who appreciates motorcycles will enjoy the visit, although an hour is not a lot of time to spend admiring each piece on display.
Everyone who visited the museum really enjoyed it, even though none were Guzzi owners. Here are a few photos from the visit.
You might be able to visit the Moto Guzzi museum on one of our guided motorcycle tours Italy, provided the timing works out. If not, there’s plenty of other reasons to enjoy motorcycle touring in Italy, but that’s the subject of another blog post.
